SSG Sidney Cohen, of Camden New Jersey, served with the 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry, C Company. Sidney was fatally wounded on November 15, 1965 during the Battle of Ia Drang at Landing Zone X-ray Ia Drang Valley, South Vietnam, Pleiku province.
