Somehow the @NYTimes, @deanbaquet, @katiekings thought it was a good idea to give @DouthatNYT most of the op-ed page today to defend bans on abortion, just as the right to abortion is likely to be radically curtailed in the USA by the Supreme Court within the next year. 1/

1. What happened to SDNY having Trump cold? 2. What happened to SDNY having Rudy cold? 3. What happened to Matt Gaetz's arrest for child trafficking? 4. What happened to the Trump/Deutsche bank investigation? 5. What happened to NY AG case? (that's 2+ years) 6. Tax returns?

“We’re inundated with threats right now. We had threats against the candlelight vigil last night. We’ve had threats against memorials… It’s absolutely absurd that after a tragedy we see a huge spike in threats but that’s what we’re seeing”

Much of what’s wrong in America is perfectly captured right here in this photo. Death merchants in a murder cult. A whole family of them. The worst.

A country that is more terrified of children reading Toni Morrison's books than repeated gun massacres at schools is morally broken and doesn't care at all about protecting its children.

@Ring_Sheryl A lot of people talk about this court having been assembled to end Roe, but that is only an aspect of it; this court was assembled to end the Civil Rights Era.

in a state like Alabama you cannot be forced to wear a mask to protect others but you can be forced to endure an entire pregnancy against your will. You understand why I think the "life" argument is a canard. Control women. Control their choices.

It's wild that a third of the Supreme Court was appointed by a man who attempted to overthrow the United States government, and we just continue to let those judges hand down decisions.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor, a consistent supporter of abortion rights, grilled Mississippi's solicitor general, asking whether the institution of the Supreme Court would "survive the stench" of overturning Roe in what would appear to be a political act.

It will go down in history as one of our nation’s greatest tragedies that a profligate septuagenarian raw dogging adulterous sleaze bag grifter appointed the Justices that were responsible for telling millions of American women what they could and couldn’t do with their bodies.

The fact people cannot understand that forcing a woman to carry a pregnancy conceived by rape to term against her will continues the violation of that woman’s body beyond the actual rape is astounding to me. Rape is not about sex. It’s about control. And so is this. #SCOTUS
