Take American big band music, with a swing-jazz beat and a rich horn section, then blend it with gritty, pop-rock textures, an entertaining and talented singer-songwriter, and what you have is “A Beautiful Crime (Love Story Part 3)” from SAIL.
Last night I was outside finishing up holiday decorations… in Colorado… in shorts & a t-shirt… working up a sweat because it was still warm out.
I worry about snow pack & other downstream effects we will experience in Spring 2022 because of the #ClimateCrisis. #copolitics
"Polluters must pay. Xcel's backroom deal shows that they can close the plant earlier than claimed while still compensating our community. For the sake of our children and our future I ask that you reject this plan and retire the C3 coal plant by 2030..." -@CoolVibes_27 of Pueblo
@imusicmarketer : This is a cover song of an old Therion track called "Siren of the Woods" and it's considered symphonic metal song. It's not heavy metal and can appeal to fans of a lot of different genres.
Under the proposed settlement, Xcel would close Comanche by the end of 2034. During that interim, it would transition to reliance on lower-cost generators, running the plant at half-capacity by 2025 and at only a third of its full capacity by 2029.
@CoolVibes_27 This proposal by Xcel shows the effectiveness of community organizing to voice our support for ending coal burning and promoting renewable energy, without gas or nuclear! This plan gives Pueblo city/county plenty of time to plan for a diversified economic tax & job base.
