Not often you get a coach that goes this in depth—unprompted—to explain the run/pass ratio vs. Bucs. A lot of insight here. “Didn’t have many regrets on the way this game was called, I’m not gonna lie.” If 1 regret, Frank Reich says he wishes he would’ve thrown sooner. #Colts

On Antoine Winfield’s interception for Bucs against Colts on Sunday: He’s listed at 5-foot-9, and WR Michael Pittman Jr. is listed at 6-foot-4. Or as Antoine Winfield Sr. put it on Instagram:

Colts fans/media are lucky to have a coach who cares enough to do this. Many don’t. And not for nothin’ but he shouldn’t have regrets. He called a damn good game.

The Colts are 4th in the NFL in points per game (28.3), behind only the Bucs, Bills, and Cowboys. The Colts are scoring on 45.4% of their drives, tied for 3rd best in the league. They're behind only the Patriots and Bills, and tied with the Rams.

This is wild: The Colts have led by double digits in every game dating back to Week 4. But Sunday was their 3rd loss in that stretch, a game there for the taking: 26 straight throws, a defense that gave up 38 points and the mistakes that cost them

I can’t believe Frank Reich forgot all about the new rule that the NFL instituted this year. The second Jonathan Taylor goes over 100 yards rushing, the game is immediately stopped and the Colts are declared the winner. Just embarrassing coaching to forget that rule

The Colts have proven they can go toe-to-toe with any team in the NFL. The problem is, they haven't closed games. Their last three losses: - Overtime loses against BAL & TEN after being up 10+ points in each. - Blew 24-14 lead against the defending-champion Buccaneers.

I should have said this on our pod, but I’ll say it here instead: Jonathan Taylor absolutely DID impact that game. He dictated the Bucs’ entire defensive approach. The Colts don’t get those passing game looks without him. Everyone knew they’d need to win through the air.

People can say what they want, imagine what they want. But Jonathan Taylor and Colts OL were NEVER going to beat the Bucs. Nobody beats the Bucs that way. Frank Reich knew it. He wisely shifted to pass heavy approach. Wentz was his only shot. Almost pulled it off. Great coaching

.@Colts head coach Frank Reich and special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone went up to Isaiah Rodgers with 20 seconds left and told him to take the kick out of the end zone and go score. Man did he come close.

Colts are #4 in NFL in PPG and I imagine Offensive DVOA will rank them kindly by midweek. But yes, Frank Reich totally needs to pass the sticks on playcalling 🙄
