This striking image is not just showing profound current inequities. It is a roadmap for a future uncontrolled outbreak that we could prevent with broader global access to vaccines: #AskReuters

A10. Employees need to ask about available programs to support concerns like #stress and #burnout to #depression, #anxiety and #substanceuse. Ask about resources at no cost to you, such as EAP programs, and about app based tools and programs. #ReutersBenefits #AskReuters

A6: One of the most exciting presentations at #ASCO21 is the long-term update of the STARS trial. The group at MD Anderson showed that SBRT is probably just as effective as surgery, maybe better, for people with early-stage NSCLC. #AskReuters #radonc #lcsm

A8: Supporting others! When you help another person, you stop worrying about yourself. You may also realize that your own problems aren’t so bad, because others have them too. And helping others makes it easy for them to help you in return! #AskReuters

A9 #AskReuters I had soaring hopes vaccines would end the pandemic. But I am worried. Why? * LMICs may not be fully vaccinated for many years. The pandemic will rage & reseed in the US & Europe * Low vaccination will propel mutations * Variants could reduce vaccine efficacy

A9: About 10% of the US has recv'd at least 1 dose of #COVID19 #vaccine, ~3% are fully vaccinated w/ 2 doses, & we are vaccinating ~1.5M in US each day. That gives me #COVID19Hope, as does the fact that so many are continuing to #WearAMask, etc a year into this. 🙏#AskReuters

One of my biggest fears is that not enough folks realize that schooling is (dys)functioning exactly as intended right now: We are shifting away from teaching as a career, furthering cynicism in public schools, and selling short the needs of youth of color. #AskReuters
