I got Covid, took Paxlovid on day 2 or 3ish, and had a scratchy throat and cough that was completely knocked out the day after I started taking the meds. Had the metallic taste but it was worth it. Anecdotal, but my experience with Paxlovid was quite good.
I was asked by a reporter today if I’d take Paxlovid if I had Covid. Last month, this would have been easy: as a 64-year-old person w/ asthma, the answer was an unequivocal YES.
Today, it’s a closer call – in this🧵I’ll lay out the reasons why, and then give you my answer.(1/25)
So true I would rather appeal like a 5 co-defendant, 20 volume gang act murder case than a DUI because I never learned about blood alcohol or intoxilizers and I don't have time for CLEs on it now. Give me a 6 week opoid pharmacist case over a 3 day DUI.
When I answer the phone and the caller says judge I'm still like oh shit, there's a judge on the line, I've been ambushed until I remember that they're calling me judge and then I'm like oh hey, I just ran up some stairs so that's why I'm breathing heavy, what's up?
I can’t wait for my future children’s “career day” where I get to come to their school and share about my job. My presentation to 12 year olds on the importance of carrying UM coverage and the dangers to the American constitution associated with tort reform will be electric.
Your desk can have a lot more room on it if you also characterize the chairs and couch and parts of the floor where no one will probably walk as the auxiliary desk.
