these are both people who are experienced in trans health care and I maybe am not fully understanding the context but it is not a great way to start out that essay.

the older person who used "they/them" pronouns is being misgendered, it seems like. It's possibly they identify as nonbinary and as a girl, I guess, but...it doesn't sound like they interviewed this person, and they sure sound dismissive of their nonbinary identity.

this wapo piece about the dangers of too hasty transition appears to be misgendering a trans person in their first graph...?

trans people remain a small and much hated minority and signaling support for them will make many people dislike you.

and again, if you polled white voters, you'd find a lot of transphobia. it's pretty ubiquitous.

I mean, i don't think anyone who doesn't want to use latinx is transphobic. but I think when you're asking people if they'll vote against someone for using it,you're likely measuring transphobia in large part.

there's a lot of transphobia throughout the electorate.

the thing about this is that I am pretty sure you would find many white voters who would say that they'd turn against a candidate who used gender neutral pronouns for nonbinary people.

🚨🚨 A new nationwide poll of Hispanics published in Politico this morning finds: ⚠️ Just 2% of Latinos use “Latinx” ⚠️ 40% find it offensive ⚠️ 30% say they won’t vote for a candidate who uses it, including 1/4 of Democrats

From race realism to gender dysphoria to gender critical discussions, the regressive left produce sanitized ideas that conservatives use to justify bigoted policies. The regressive left act as hate launderers.

.@ErikLoomis: He was mean early in his career. He was mean when he was close to Nixon. He was mean in his later career. He was mean in the Senate. He was mean as a candidate. And he was mean as an old man being all-in on Donald Trump.

there are plenty of things to attack Trump for that don't involve Barron in any way, and it's best to focus on those.

I can't say I'm exactly looking forward to any of them, though I guess Thor Love and Thunder, She Hulk, and the Marvels are things I am hoping aren't terrible. I would need to be paid a considerable sum to see Secrets of Dumbledore.bleh.

Hillary Clinton won voters with incomes less than $50,000, as did Joe Biden by double digits. Conflating “ordinary voters” with rural white voters is gross and racist, and Democrats should leave that to Republicans, who are the experts at gross racism.

.@ErikLoomis In 1990, Dole pushed through the one positive thing he did in his career. This was the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADA is an unvarnished good. It has significantly improved the lives of millions of Americans in the decades since.
