Unbelievable…
1/ Satoshi built smart contract opcodes into the bitcoin client, most of which were removed because they compromised security. Bitcoin devs have long understood that smart contracts’ proper place is higher layers, which is now bearing fruit with Lightning & federal designs.

I hate subsidies…
Chatter about either violating 21mm bitcoins protocol or blatantly stealing Satoshi’s 10 year old btc coins (which have been promised to charity btw) will only get louder as we approach 2024 halvening to 3.125 block subsidy.
