The overturning of Roe V. Wade is a bodily autonomy issue, a human rights issue, a racial justice issue, an economic issue, and an environmental justice issue.
Everyone is impacted by this, and we should all fight accordingly.
Here's what I'm hearing regarding Obergefell:
* It seems that at least one of Kavanaugh or Gorsuch really does believe that Obergefell is different because it doesn't involve "life". Votes to overturn it may not be there.
* Same with Griswold, Eisenstadt, & Lawrence. 1/n
Pence and Cheney loved Trump, maintained him in power, love all the money they made, and stuck us with these criminals on the Supreme Court. Glad they're exposing the ultimate outcome of the insanity they benefited from. But what about all the injustice they did nothing to stop?
9. We need images of groups of multi-generational collections of people who all benefit when one member has had an abortion so that it can be accurately understood as an experience that one woman has for the greater good.
Let’s be 100% clear. If Republicans win control of the House, Senate and White House two years from now, they will pass a national abortion ban. And no matter where you live, no matter how pro-choice your state is, women and doctors will be locked up for practicing health care.
🧵: The hands of time have once again been turned back. The extreme right-wing Supreme Court majority’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the law of the land for 49 years that gave a woman the right to choose, will have far-reaching and painful consequences. 1/5
