Second verse, same as the first. Michigan remains inconceivably out of step in its approach to COVID-19 regulations. Our banquet, meetings and event spaces have been decimated, left behind and are at risking of losing another wedding/graduation/conference season. It's time to act https://t.co/PAzhycxMPc

It feels like an appropriate time to dust off this tweet. It has now been 67 days that restaurants have been re-open with mandated contact tracing and the total number restaurant patron outbreaks is only 3 (of 991 total investigations). That's 0.3% for those scoring at home. https://t.co/drD3QHkTlo

MI is experiencing a COVID resurgence in recent days, which is unnerving. But noteworthy: 1)We are surging higher than our neighbors despite having more stringent restrictions. 2)Restaurants have been reopen 45 days w/ contact tracing and still have 0 patron outbreaks statewide.

This story summarizes why it really is an honor to fight every day for the restaurant industry. There are so many stories that encapsulate the American Dream, an entrepreneurial spirit and a vision for what is possible through hard work, creativity and resilience. https://t.co/K3Q0hzzOTd

Foreshadowing of mid-to-late April in Michigan. Be smart, act responsibly, stay the course and get the damn vaccine. A summer we all deserve is within reach. https://t.co/mGJzQijhDJ

Oh my 🥳💕 Study in 223 communities in Israel found as the rate of vaccination for 16-50 yr-olds rose quickly, the rate of infection in unvaccinated under-16-yr-olds dropped pretty much in sync. It's been a year. Much of the economy has recovered, but the hospitality industry has not even begun to dig out. It needs help. It needs a governor and a legislature to prioritize that need and pass a targeted relief bill that will spark an epic comeback. Preferably now. https://t.co/iocRKaKDhy

A great @TheOfficialMRLA partnership with @WeRRestaurants to secure this much-needed relief for MI restaurants! MI applicants will likely qualify en masse as the industry posted a devastating 57% loss in sales year-over-year, which was more than twice the national average. https://t.co/4yyMOuwsAe

We support a veto override and will be recording the vote. I don't discount Gov's claims about how poor the negotiating process was, but outcomes are what matter now. There is needed relief targeted for small restaurant and hotel operators and we can't let bad politics sink it.

Restaurants in Michigan have been (re)open for indoor dining for nearly 1.5 months. Contact tracing has been required throughout this period. To date there are zero outbreak investigations of COVID-19 transmission to a restaurant patron. That's the tweet. https://t.co/fYGXT3gzmM

Restaurants reopened at 25% occupancy on Feb 1. and have been required to collect contact tracing info of guests during this period. Through 3.5 weeks, not a single case of COVID-19 transmission has been attributed to a restaurant patron #MISafeDining https://t.co/VxRT2rRZll

Michigan is now well out of the mainstream in its approach to restaurant occupancy restrictions. It is time to join every single one of our neighboring states and move forward. We have a plan. Learn more at https://t.co/WvXBflxaEE #SafeMIDining https://t.co/3nlKzPFa19
