"Lucasfilm has repeatedly proven they've learned nothing but the wrong lessons from Solo" is second on my list of reasons I'm trepidatious about Enfys showing up in subsequent TV/movies (after, you know, misogynoir)
I agree his acting was really good. I like his performance...but it didn't feel like Han Solo. Not his fault the movie didn't do well though: that was more about (bad) timing and the hiring and firing issues which led to a lot of rewriting and reshoots.
Nothing great about it either, respectfully. That’s a movie that shouldn’t have been made. The timeline is too close to young han in ANH. Nobody bought that guy was Han Solo. And I WANTED to. Wonderful actor, good performance — raw deal. Impossible task. I, for one, agree w KK.
