Imagine doing a great job acting and then getting blamed for a movie not making a billion dollars every time said movie is mentioned for the next god-knows how many years
"Lucasfilm has repeatedly proven they've learned nothing but the wrong lessons from Solo" is second on my list of reasons I'm trepidatious about Enfys showing up in subsequent TV/movies (after, you know, misogynoir)

I agree his acting was really good. I like his performance...but it didn't feel like Han Solo. Not his fault the movie didn't do well though: that was more about (bad) timing and the hiring and firing issues which led to a lot of rewriting and reshoots.

Nothing great about it either, respectfully. Thatβs a movie that shouldnβt have been made. The timeline is too close to young han in ANH. Nobody bought that guy was Han Solo. And I WANTED to. Wonderful actor, good performance β raw deal. Impossible task. I, for one, agree w KK.
