This isn’t remotely how herd immunity works, so Austin’s SInclair-owned CBS Austin (KEYE) is either genuinely confused by science or they’re playing a more sinister and dangerous political long game suggesting to viewers the pandemic is over. Either way, Austin deserves better.
Those calling for impeachment or invoking the 25th Amendment in response to President Trump’s rhetoric this week are themselves engaging in intemperate and inflammatory language and calling for action that is equally irresponsible and could well incite further violence.

You have the right to speak. You have no right to a paid platform for your speech from a private enterprise. And you know that.
A private publisher dropping a book bc it disapproves of an author’s actions has nothing to do with the First Amendment.
Either Hawley — who went to Yale Law and clerked for Justice Roberts — doesn’t know that.

I'm deeply disturbed and alarmed by the protest turned mob turned insurrection at the US capital today. This kind of violent disrespect for our republic should not be allowed to continue. I call for all elected officials of the US government to condemn these actions.
