This morning I woke up to a story: a woman who walked into a ER with an ectopic pregnancy. She lived in a state with trigger laws. She had to wait nine hours while her doctor consulted a lawyer. She almost died.

There are over 120,000 children eligible for adoption in the United States right now and more than 400,000 in the foster care system.
So, when I see pics of these conservative married couples holding a sign that says “Don’t abort — we’ll adopt your baby”… I just don’t buy it.
