Chinese Canadians are TWICE as likely to own and live in unaffordable homes; they are also about half as likely to be renters, compared to all Canadians. That's according to new data released by @StatCan_eng via @scmpnews

Other interesting stuff: Chinese Canadians are more than twice as likely to live in a "multi census family" household (typically a multi-generational home, eg with grandparents)...

Three quarters of all Chinese Canadians are immigrants...& data provided by @Ayan604 shows these folk only earn about $30K/yr. Which makes the disparity with housing costs even more remarkable. Hints: frn wealth, non-declared frn earnings, astronaut housholds, multi-gen wealth
