Years of being relentlessly pressured behind an annually poor offensive line has caught up to Russell Wilson, Seahawks. The previous Wilson covered those flaws with miraculous escapes/plays despite the O-line Carroll and Schneider haven’t fixed. The current Wilson rarely does.

@gbellseattle No miracles needed. Just solid QB play.

@gbellseattle except we went to the super bowl with the highest paid o-line in the NFL. Russ creates most of the pressure himself by not getting the ball out on time. the reality check for your narrative is not being accepted by the bank of game film.

@gbellseattle O-lines matter - they really do - when was the last time we had 2 pro-bowlers on OL?

@gbellseattle I also found strange that he waited so long to use his legs…is he trying to do it less bc of the finger?

@gbellseattle It’s time for Russ to enter this era: If you want to win, give up several million now in order to be competitive longer. One of the big Brady legacies that few QBs replicate.

@gbellseattle Thank you Gregg!!! And some fans now chant the OL is good enough every yr. Schotty fixed his mechanics after injury and yrs of poor OL play. But the OL has never been fixed. Pressure burst pipes and RW is no different. G-C-G play is what helped elevated Drew Brees for years!

@gbellseattle I agree. The O-Line is a bunch of transients, been that way for years. But why does Russ only make his public pitches for superstar athletes many of whom have baggage?
