Today, Africa's largest power plant, the GERD’s first turbine began generating power. This is a good news for our continent & the downstream countries with whom we aspire to work together. As Ethiopia marks the birth of a new era, I congratulate all Ethiopians!
We visited Kabribayah this morning, which is one of many host communities in the Somali Regional State supporting drought affected displaced persons. In the interim, we will scale the provision of water trucks, food, animal feed and essential medicines. 1/2

Great job governor. Building school is one of the first priority for peoples in ASAL. However I am very much concerned on recent instability and attacks on peoples of marsabit county. You have to work more on ensuring peace and stability between brothers.
