@crazyhouseprice Airbnb needs to be regulated similar as to why Uber hasn't been able to be successful in Ireland.

@BobofDublin @crazyhouseprice It is regulated, Airbnb’s cant be used for more than 90 days in a year before the property needs a change of use application. You’re paying a couple of hundred thousand euro in taxes for a team that regulated this.

@crazyhouseprice In my very big commuter home town of Carrigaline in Cork, population of 16,000 people and there is only ONE property available to rent!!!

@crazyhouseprice Plenty of house buyers being outbid in Sligo Town by investors who then use the house as AirBnBs - I could point out several examples in resedential areas/estates in the town - it's ridiculous.

@crazyhouseprice We desperately need planning enforcement, I would love to take the time to cross check all of these against their respective local planning and report any and all that don't have change of use planning granted (but not sure the councils would take action either though)
