It's been 100 days since the Nigerian government banned Twitter. @netblocks estimates $600 million in revenue has been lost as a result, at the rate of $6 million a day via @BBCAfrica

@briticoyemo @netblocks @BBCAfrica I cannot consider the Netblocks calculator a credible tool for the Nigerian market For one, it provides the same cost impact of $6,014,390 for a 1-day shutdown of Twitter as it does for 1 day of Facebook. Same for 1 day of WhatsApp. How? There's clearly key context missing

@briticoyemo @netblocks @BBCAfrica Is the revenue loss of $6 million per day to Twitter or to Nigerians? I am really curious and waiting for the answer. Please do not just say that you are quoting a source, it is your news so you need to explain it Yemisi
