The 4.1% rise in inflation is the average across many goods. Other items were up more. *gas up 32.5% *pork up 9.3% *furniture up 8.7% *chicken up 8.4% *vehicles up 7.2% *appliances 5.3% #cdnpoli #elxn44

@brianlilley You get spikes in short-term inflation when you've just staved off the most severe economic headwinds in 80 years. Thank you, @JustinTrudeau for saving workers and businesses. Raw capitalism/conservatism would've had us in an economic depression right now. #IStandWithTrudeau

@brianlilley If all those items are that much higher, there must be a large number of other items you are not mentioning that are not up at all or lower to achieve the 4.1% average. You see how averaging works in inflation?!

@brianlilley This is only the beginning... If you envoy losing most of the value of your savings and what you get paid, all the while paying exorbitant and skyrocketing prices for just about everything imaginable, then by all means, vote for Trudeau again.

@brianlilley My groceries have gone up significantly. My boys play sports at high level so travel is included. It’s been a very expensive year for us. Thank goodness I have a good job but it’s getting tougher to stomach the food bills
