Here’s part of a statement from Liberal leader Steven Del Duca on long term care. The Liberals ran Ontario from 2003 until 2018. Never in that time did they try to stop for profit long term care. They could’ve. Now that they are trying to out NDP Andrea Horwath, they’re opposed.

Ottawa’s LRT is a debacle. Has been from day one. This project has been the baby of Mayor @JimWatsonOttawa and if he wants credit for the good he has to take blame for the bad. Watson needs to fix this. Ford & Trudeau should hold back funding until it is.

It’s really weird to see Toronto’s mayor @JohnTory play the mediator in this Rogers Family Feud episode. The Sun’s @anthonyfurey tackles that and Tory’s pay day from the company and power within it.

Splendid reporting on the ground in Afghanistan from @StewGlobal, about the hundreds of Afghans Canada left behind, now hiding from the Taliban in Kabul. “We are their enemies. They will take their revenge.”

Ten days ago me and Jeff Semple arrived in Kabul. What we found was heartbreaking: Hundreds of Afghans who worked for Canada's military left behind by the government's stalled evacuation effort, living under constant fear of Taliban retaliation.
