1/ You may have noticed that it is indie bookshop week. For me it has been a week where other work has taken me away from my beloved shop. I am not the only one, so many in this industry have jobs that pay yhe bills. One thing you can do is attend bookish events in shops.
As the only one in my friendship group who's single and without kids, I know what it's like to feel lonely.

So far this summer I have e read The Firekeeper's Daughter a YA with a lot of mystery, a spot of native American culture, murder and much more. Such a great read. Also read Fledgling, has anyone else read the book? It's a very good read.
