If you are a good candidate, I strongly suggest you apply for this fellowship. It's a great opportunity - unless you get stuck with me as your mentor, that is. :)

Dragon is the ideal vehicle for HST reboost, if it's free...

If you're simply rebooting HST, Dragon is not the ideal vehicle, because it has all this extra mass for people, but, if you have other plans for the servicing that benefit with people on orbit it makes more sense.

Yes, encouraging trends toward our ability to mount a planetary defense against asteroid strikes. Now if only we could grow into our role as defenders against climate change and nuclear war...

First images of DART impact taken from Italian cubesat nearby! You can see the spidery looking debris cloud from the impact on the smaller asteroid.

10 months ago we watched the #DARTMission launch in person and just now all 4 of us watched the successful impact live on our screen. Such remarkable precision! Congratulations to NASA and @SpaceX and @JHUAPL .

Looks like an unplanned successful test of the #NewShepard launch escape system. But since the failure seems to be in the booster which I believe is common with the crew version-this should be examined very carefully. I’m confident that my friends @blueorigin will do it right.

During today’s flight, the capsule escape system successfully separated the capsule from the booster. The booster impacted the ground. There are no reported injuries; all personnel have been accounted for.

I spent the #911Anniversary at the Armenian Genocide Museum so I had 2 reminders today of the worst of inhumanity. And these atrocities are continuing to happen not very far from where I am sitting. When will we stop? @ArmGenocide100 #BuchaMassacre
