India court quashes Amazon, Flipkart bid to stall antitrust probe. This is the latest setback for the firms which are also facing prospects of tougher regulations. The CCI has also accused Amazon of concealing facts while seeking a deal approval in 2019.

“This further reinforces that the CCI investigation should continue promptly,” said Abir Roy of Sarvada Legal who filed the antitrust case against Amazon, Flipkart on behalf of a trader group. Amazon and Flipkart have so far not responded.
