There seems to be a lot of people who confuse their right to have a ridiculous opinion with sharing it on my TL.

The GOP has been fighting any and every mandate regarding Coronavirus mitigation tooth and nail, but, rest assured, that won't prevent them from blaming a surge solely on Biden.

Since at least the 80s, the GOP and oligarchs have sold the idea that the wealthy shouldn't have to pay taxes because they are "Job Creators." I think we would be better off if people like Rupert Murdoch created a lot less jobs.

Why does the Media keep blaming Biden for inflation when The Fed's mandate is price stability?

The fact that the GOP spends all its time attacking a straw man is nothing new. The fact that their base unquestioningly believes and adopts the arguments is the problem, all the while calling facts that refute it fake news.

The peaceful transition of power is one of the hallmarks of our democracy. Trump has convinced his base and the GOP that those days are over. Unless they experience some revelation, the days of our democracy are likely numbered as well.

Traditionally, ignorant people have been helped by society, but now they want to run society. It's not working out very well.

Democrats are working to provide the public with what they want; the Republicans and most media are working to obfuscate the facts and provide their own narrative.

Democrats agree to link 2 big complex bills. One is the biggest infrastructure bill in history. The other ($1.5T or $3.5T) is the most expensive social policy bill in history financed by taxes on corporations & the rich. Liberals have a big win. Only question is how big?

It seems like every time I come under attack by trolls, Twitter shadow bans me. That's a pretty interesting algorithm.

We no longer have "Equal Justice Under Law," if we ever truly did. As Exhibit A, I present The Former Guy.

The Biden administration has: 1. Pleaded with Americans since Spring to leave Afghanistan. 2. Pleaded with Americans since Spring to get vaccinated. The group that complains about not enough action on the former seems to be the same group that says too much action on the latter.

A lot of the Trump cult are tripping over themselves to say it's all Biden's fault for not reversing Trump's Afghanistan surrender. Likely they are the same ones that call people that disagree with Trump policies "libtards" and contribute regularly to his legal defense fund.

I have never seen such a hate-filled, self-absorbed group of people as anti-vaxxers, except for Trumpers. But, of course, for the most part they are the same group.

Trump may have lost the election, but, in his four years, he emboldened some people and politicians to strive toward the dystopian world of his dreams and encouraged their lying to be the status quo. If Trump and his cronies are not held accountable, they will not stop.

People from the far right insist to me that we are not a democracy, but that we are, instead, a republic. They do this to justify arguments of minority rule, autocracy, and white nationalism. A republic simply means that we are not a monarchy and elect our leaders democratically.

It seems like the same folks that spent all their time decrying Cancel Culture are now spending all their time trying to cancel Critical Race Theory.

The GOP has concluded that the only way to protect the wealth class from having to pay taxes is to suppress the vote and move away from democracy.
