The @nytimes is giving employees branded lunch boxes this week as a return-to-office perk. We want respect and a fair contract instead — so I’m working from home this week along with 1,300 of my @NYTimesGuild and @NYTGuildTech colleagues, with support from @WirecutterUnion .

No one deserves to be unceremoniously dismissed from a workplace they value. Hearst needs to come to the table and fairly negotiate over the terms of the layoffs.

Last night, the @nytimes posted a graphic listing @CondeNast as a company offering access to abortion services they may not be able to obtain in their state. This isn’t 100 percent true.

TIME Union is prepared to walk out for one day on May 23, the day #TIME100 is released, one of our tentpole franchises that would not exist without our labor—unless @time management agrees to a fair contract.

Good morning. Return to office is a mandatory subject of bargaining. Policies must be agreed on as part of a collectively bargained contract. It's that simple. Companies like @nytimes cannot force workers @NYTimesGuild back. They should come to the table ready to bargain.

BREAKING: The NLRB's chief counsel Jennifer Abruzzo is moving to ban captive audience meetings, where employers force workers to attend anti-union meetings. She issued a memo today calling on the NLRB board to declare them illegal under the National Labor Relations Act.
