My kid is in 4th grade. Texas is where we lived until a year ago. No family, no community, no nation should live through such horror. It’s the callousness and greed of people in power that has brought us here. Shame on the GOP. Shame on everyone who supports the GOP on this.

Growing up, I loved reading, but I hated 90% of the miserable books we read for class
I get that they were classics, & that not every story needs to be happy, but I think those unhappy books contribute to lots of ppl graduating, believing they don't like to read
