Bill Russell story…
Senior year of college. I’m the GM of our student radio station. Get a PR pitch email asking if we are interested in interviewing Mr. Russell, who was promoting what I recall to be an arthritis medication….
I was one of the highest-paid high school draftees in MLB history at $5,500,000. ⚾
I signed at 18, big-league debut at 20, and was hanging on to my career by 25.

I've worked in DC and in and around politics most of my adult life. Here are a bunch of reasons I have concluded along the way I could never be a politician:
1.) I believe the US Constitution is in need of a big overhaul, is profoundly out of date in key ways & flawed in others.
"Simply stated, the Second Amendment was not understood in 1791, 1868, 1934, or even as late as 1968 in the way it is today. This is particularly true when one looks at the political rhetoric at different points in history."
Is this so difficult to understand, pro-life people? A lot of us are pro-choice because we don't think women should have to wrangle with the government over whether each woman's individual reason for needing an abortion is good enough.
