OMG! I still can’t believe I just saw my lifer Common Nighthawk over my Brooklyn backyard this morning!!! It seemed to have difficulty flying against the powerful winds.

For this Spotted Lanternfly in Owl’s head Park wearing some camouflage like the octopus in #BBC Blue planet ll did not yield the same results. Unlike the octopus which survived the pyjama shark attack,this one didn’t…squished it! #invasivespecies
