@TIME @JaneGoodallInst Apparently trees communicate through their root systems and like it when different species are planted near each other. So important to not just plant one kind of tree in a given space .

@TIME @JaneGoodallInst Planting trees is no big deal. It's been done many times. What doesn't dawn on these people is the enormous amount of energy and effort to stop animals eating these trees within hours of planting or keeping water up to them til they are established.
