Officers are anyway able to reach out to families somehow, But what about common soldiers ? In another news heard 600 phones are ordered for army troops. Fricking 600 for lakhs of security forces.

Lots of worried mind in families(mine included) who haven't talked to their loved ones for more than 8 days. In all probability this blockage may stay for long. But without any alternate arrangement of comm. will lead to anger among citizens.

Since all the mobile communications are down across J&K, Does govt. have any plans to provide alternate communication for Lakhs of soldiers deployed in troubled region to reach out to their families or their families to reach out and get the news ?
