nah — it’s cool — normally if i’m awake for 18 hours i know i’m gonna be looking at a screen or listening to something for 17 hours and 50 minutes of those 18 hours — the silent walk let’s me have an hour or so where i get to just sort of exist without any digital stimulus

@SheaSerrano People who can't spend time alone with their own thoughts are either scary or boring

@SheaSerrano Agree completely. I need silence or just outdoor sounds on my walks to let my brain just go where it needs to.

@SheaSerrano I walk just over a mile to work most days, and the outdoor noise makes it harder for me to focus my thoughts. So, I need a podcast or music to allow my mind to zone out and sort itself out.

@SheaSerrano What is the point of living in a city if you can't eavesdrop while walking??? People are fascinating.

@SheaSerrano That's why I drive in silence. It's the only time I ever get silence.

@SheaSerrano I don’t mind people listening to music while they walk, bike or run. But Santa needs to bring earphones to the 75% of San Antonio’s population who share their jams at top volume with everyone else trying to just enjoy a walk on the river.
