This is the eulogy I gave for my dad, Abe, at his funeral. He was the quiet, strong glue that kept our family so close, the kind of person that keeps our society strong. He was a shining example of the Greatest Generation. We love him and will miss him.

In so many ways—he personified the greatest generation. He took whatever was thrown at him no matter how difficult, did his job, never complained. An amazing husband, parent, grandparent, great-grandparent. We love him & will miss him.

Good news for families.
I called for this to provide relief at the pump and signal to OPEC they can't manipulate supply to inflate gas prices.
Of course—the only long term solution is to keep working to eliminate fossil fuel dependence and create a robust green energy economy.
Today, President Biden is announcing the Department of Energy will make available releases of 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to lower gas and oil prices for Americans.
