What are we supposed to tell voters in 2 years before the midterms? Sorry, we couldn’t pass the $15 minimum wage that we promised you because the Senate parliamentarian advised against it? Two-thirds of voters want this done. Time to deliver.

@PramilaJayapal how would we do that then? Stop the bill that will help millions so we can do the impossible at this point?

@PramilaJayapal @JonahFurman the House needs to vote NO and send the bill back to the Senate and demand they include the $15 min wage. Stand up for us Pramila!

@PramilaJayapal We the workers control this. It's time for a country wide workers strike absolutely shut down the economy until we get $15 minimum wage immediately not 10yrs down the road.

@PramilaJayapal Why can't we just pass a separate bill and potentially get some R votes by indexing the raise in min wage to local COLA? $15 in CA does not = buying power of $15 in Kansas

@PramilaJayapal Promptly put together a singular bill to raise it to $15 AND peg it to inflation and push that puppy thru both.

@PramilaJayapal Thank you! Don't Dems ever learn that you get slaughtered playing by so-called rules which really aren't rules? Also, we must do away with the filibuster now and pass, for a start, voting rights legislation before it's too late!
