Likely a super wide angle lens in a tiny room, which distorts what's closer to the camera. H/T President Carter's feet. @BradleyWhitford https://t.co/C69uzvHeuV

@PeteSouza Is this caused by something technical? Like a wide angle weirdly corrected through some program? It’s a little baffling. Maybe it’s a combination of soft furniture cushions sinking down & the placement of @POTUS 46 closer to the camera, & POTUS 39 sliding down a bit? https://t.co/CJmBBIlUk8

@PeteSouza @BradleyWhitford I took some flak for pointing that out on another post, but it's good to have it confirmed by the master!

@PeteSouza @BradleyWhitford The chairs get me. They must be tiny. Both Bidens are shoulders above the chair backs.

@PeteSouza @BradleyWhitford When my son & his wife sent me pics of my new granddaughter I thought she was beautiful, but I was a little concerned because she had the biggest little baby man hands I had ever seen! I'm so glad I kept my mouth shut because her hands are perfect.

@PeteSouza @BradleyWhitford Thank you, Mr. Souza, for that explanation. Shame on the photographer who turned a historic photo op into a joke.
