The initial public health aspiration of global eradication like smallpox or polio was a fantasy. “Zero” evolved into “Inevitable” Thankfully, the illness has become progressively milder and easily treatable in all high-risk cases regardless of status.

@P_McCulloughMD Another unspoken narrative: China. No, not Wuhan, but policy response. China "locked down hard", forced masking and has 87%+ vax rate. This is the dream lib scenario, right?. And yet. They're still chasing Covid, locking down, quarantining, etc. Same for Oz.
