Remembering Hugh Evans
A member of the incoming 2022 Class of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Hugh Evans was an NBA referee for 28 years. Evans officiated in 35 NBA Finals games as well as almost 2000 regular-season contests.
The NBRA, along with the entire basketball community, is beyond saddened by the passing of legendary NBA referee Hugh Evans. Evans, forever a trailblazer will be inducted into the Basketball Hall Of Fame this September. Rest in peace and may your legacy live on.
