While concerts have been back in South Korea since the beginning of the year, cheering was prohibited. With COVID restrictions lifting, fans are finally allowed to cheer again.

@NPR That seems so bizarre. How did they enforce that and, at what point, would artists decide if it was worth it or not to perform if their fans couldn't fully enjoy the experience? Ever been to a concert where fans couldn't express anything, even if they were paying $50+ per head?

@NPR Man the grumpy old man of the world really took advantage of the pandemic, for the first time in history the squares screamed “turn down that music” and the youth actually listened. Scary that the people who were once rebels turned into the mouthpiece of the state
