A Republican state lawmaker in Florida is proposing a Texas-style abortion bill, that would allow members of the public to sue anyone who helps end a pregnancy beyond that point and fine physicians $10,000 for each abortion they perform later in pregnancy.

@NPR Just wait until December, when SCOTUS inevitably overturns Roe. That would be the pragmatic thing to do, but this isn’t about pragmatism. It’s about gleeful cruelty.

@NPR when the Texas, and soon to be Florida bills are overturned, the lawmakers of those 2 states should write their constituents checks for wasting their money on such nonsense. This is all so backwards. Arizona should follow suit for their "audit" What a waste of time and resources
