A planetary nebula with a bow shock near its center. A rather unique one, rarely photographed due to how dim and small it is. Any ideas on its name?

Rarely photographed in narrowband, but I do it for the people. Trifid Nebula, here in SHO.

This is just mind-blowing to me, got me crying man. At the start of the year I was a struggling freelance artist with barely $1000 to my name, taking on any job no matter the pay or type just so I could get by 😭

My image of the Rosette Nebula - an incredibly dynamic star forming region. Looks like a fire in the night sky

A drooling monster? A waterfall? ...Or maybe just another nebula. This one has no clever name, but I stand by my description of a drooling monster, that vertical streak is unlike anything I have ever seen in a nebula other than this one.

The Wizard Nebula, taken with a 14.5" telescope 🧙‍♂️ This is one of my favorite nebulae, I can really see the Wizard in this one. Most of the time I feel like a nebula looks nothing like its name. Here's to the exceptions.

The Crab #Pulsar is surrounded by a wild network of gasses …remnants of a star that exploded. This #supernova was recorded by Chinese astronomers on July 4, 1054 as being visible in the daytime sky! Shot in visible and infrared with a backyard #telescope. #space #astronomy

I took over 20,000 images of the moon and then combined them in to this single high-resolution mosaic

A single star is responsible for illuminating nearly all of this gas and dust. It is one of the hottest stars ever recorded at 45,000 K and is about 100,000 brighter than our own sun. It blends right in with all the other stars however, any guessed on which it is?

Hubble (left) | Me (right) A comparison older than time itself, pretty much what every astrophotographer measures themselves against. This is still a work in progress, but still having fun with it. I'll get your level of detail one day Hubble.

I'm currently in the middle of a MASSIVE moon project and collaboration. While editing the image, I noticed this bright thing on the lunar surface. Not sure what it could be....
