Paris mayor announces that the city’s ring highway will transform a car lane to bus/carpool/taxi use in 2024. Highway will get 50,000 trees to reduce its air pollution effects. And 2030 plan is to eliminate a car lane in both directions.

Everyone worried about Monkeypox: don’t be. It’s not a new pathogen that has just crossed the species barrier, we understand it, we even have a vaccine for it - completely different ballgame. The only concern is public health’s ability to respond which <looks around> fair enough.

However, in Calgary (see below) we have had a steady rise in COVID and now have amounts of disease we haven’t seen for about 3 weeks. We seem to be climbing again unfortunately. /end
