The Xe-100 reactor greatly benefits from the “Square-Cube Law” which results in exponentially lower risk than gigawatt scale nuclear reactors (see previous NuScale SMR section). This new reactor design will also be the first “4th Generation” commercial reactor deployed in the US.
Mining to obtain a mineral which is fully recyclable is a good thing if site management is done responsibly with a view toward remediation when the mine is played out.
Mining for fossil fuels, which clearly are not recyclable, is always bad.
Uranium mining is even worse.
If most guns were less lethal maybe the cops wouldn’t need 30+ backup to charge a teenager attacking an elementary school.
Require a license and background check for anything that can produce more than 1000 joules of force.
To approve potential historic districts:
