It's been clear for quite some time now that they are in it purely for themselves and their wealthy friends. The rest of us aren't even on their radar. They shouldn't be anywhere near government.
report with a straight face that "The Chancellor set £14.8bn aside to fund tax cuts....it is far more than the reserves gathered by his predessors"?
He hasn't gathered ANY reserves. He's BORROWING £183bn this year alone
I think that they are doing what people elected them to do. No one voting Tory expected anything else. Cutting tax substantially on earnings over £150k is what people elect Tory's to do. They will also be some stale breadcrumbs for the middle.
Listening to some people I meet, it sometimes feels like they identify with the very rich *as if they were rich too* even though they really really aren't...
Is that the disease of the Tory voter?
