’ team took the visit seriously & they wanted the Bosnian public to be as aware as possible of her remarks. I can’t recall a foreign delegation ever having taken such a approach in Bosnia, certainly not in recent memory. That’s encouraging.

Folks in Bosnia need to pay close attention to how Germany is responding to Russia's aggression vs. Ukraine: w/ fortune cookie hokum. There's elxns in October. The ones telling you that Berlin (and therewith the EU) are a credible, reliable partner are not in touch w/ reality.
The war raises many questions. Can violence be fought with violence? Can peace only be established without weapons? We should discuss both questions with respect. But one thing is clear: we support Ukraine so that violence does not become the norm. -

On this day 30 years ago, the Trnopolje concentration camp was opened. Between May 1992 and November 1992, an estimated 30,000 detainees passed through the camp. The detainees were subject to awful conditions with cases of torture, rape, and killing recorded.
