That being said, the powers that be have long since drilled away that understanding here. Your health is tied to your employment for a reason. Living paycheck to paycheck does that too. Anyways just a thought, not actually telling anyone to strike.

And if you’re really thinking “if protests don’t work, what will?” The answer is actually strikes. The lifeblood of any country is it’s workforce, and striking until things change would actually cause enough disruption to do something. It’s one of the few powers the majority has.

And that’s it for social media for me today! I’m going to tune off because honestly it’s a shit show and we all need to look after our mental health. Also IRL protests. I’m not sure if it’ll make a difference, but it’s something.

The UK definitely fucked up with Brexit, and austerity, and repeatedly voting in the conservatives who’ve done nothing but nothing but bring inflation to the 2nd most in the world (behind Russia)
But at least we still subsidise school lunches for kids across the whole nation.

Ya know what? The uk is run by the Conservative party, but they would never ban abortion or allow people AR-15s so no they are are not the “most right wing” by a long shot. Hell we give away condoms for free which right wingers hate! (Contraceptives and socialised healthcare ?!)
