Great to be @HMPIOW today with @OSTCharity supporting their passionate staff on their journey to becoming trauma informed. There is never a silver bullet but that’s no reason not to do. Lots of effort being made there despite huge challenges.
We can now officially announce that this year’s #HiddenHeroes#CharityChallenge has raised an incredible £66,050 for mental health causes, including £61,327 for the charity @MentalHealthUK – and there may still be a bit more to come! [1/5]
We will be joining the rest of HMPPS and MOJ to mark World Mental Health Day on the 11th instead of the 10th to encourage conversation and capture more staff - encouraging conversation at HMP IOW with everyone and raising awareness

What an amazing #HiddenHeroes day. We opened our staff welfare room and recognised #HiddenHeroes that were voted for by colleagues and prisoners from all departments and partners with the Lord-Lieutenant for the Island including a reading of this great poem! @HiddenHeroes_UK
