Recent turns of Discourse™ remind me of the now-dead metaphor "this is where I came in." See, movie theaters used to run films on a loop, so you could come in at any point and watch the film until you reached the point where... well, you get it.
For the nights I can’t
pick you up off the floor,
we’ll build a fort.
My body was made for you
to sleep inside of,
you make me want
to straighten things up

The wild thing about John Brown is that his entire family was radicalized. His sons knew their father would possibly be killed in the raid on Harper's Ferry. One son even participated. They also helped on the Underground Railroad.
He organized his family.
the john brown Discourse is also reminding me of how benjamin lay once kidnapped slaveowners' children to make a point about how slavery separated families and i'm pretty sure if someone tried that today with ICE agents' kids everyone would be like "but the poor ICE agents!"
i don’t wanna hear a single prediction for 2022. not a peep. no comparisons to current & previous plague years, no audacious hopes. no dread. just radical neutrality. hands off the wheel. this is a speculation free zone. surrender to mystery
Discourse needs to be a tool for people to grow from. Lately it's solely become a weapon to attack people and terrify anyone out of wanting to engage in genuine talk and chances at learning and growing.
