I recently took part in an Athena Swan consultation on gender equality in my dept. I was the ONLY person who didnโt focus their comments on a group other than women. There was a lot of โall marginalised groupsโ and โcentre trans feminismโ. It was depressing.

What I love about Ricky Gervais is how uncompromisingly honest he is. No mealy mouthed 'both sides', 'complex issue' bollocks. Just, this is grotesque and I'll say it. Same when he's talking about other faith-based beliefs: if the truth offends you that's your issue to deal with.

And while we're on the subject, transwomen are not women according to the law, even with a GRC. If transwomen were legally women for all purposes, this distinction couldn't be made in the Equality Act 2010.

Trans medicine is a huge growth business in the US. The Arcus foundation which funds the trans movement is run by Jon Stryker, the heir to the Stryker medical technology corporation. Transactivism is backed by commercial medicine and corporate investors.
