In 2020, I questioned how Mitch McConnell won his election based on certain counties that looked statistically impossible. Last nights Kentucky Primary turnout helped further validate the fact that there was something very suspect with Mitch McConnell's 2020 election 'win' πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

In 2020 I dug into Mitch's odd election numbers in some key counties. Last night's turnout continues to demonstrate how unbelievable his 2020 numbers were. For example, two KY counties had NEVER voted GOP in their entire history, yet in 2020 Mitch got 2x as many votes in bothπŸ€”

But the 2022 primary turnout appears drastically different to 2020 WOLFE COUNTY Dem Voters=1595 GOP Voters=175 ELLIOTT COUNTY Dem Voters=1034 GOP Voters=160 So counties who had suddenly turned overwhelmingly GOP in 2020, switched back to being OVERWHELMINGLY Blue in 2022?πŸ€”

And another county I dug into was Breathitt County In 2020 I was surprised that Mitch had won with 234% more votes than they had registered Republicans Yet, in 2022 the Dems turned out big time in Breathitt while Republicans were barely there?? BREATHITT Dems=3348 GOP=331

If Republicans had suddenly & overwhelmingly supported Mitch, why didn't they show up for Rand Paul? Results in these counties look odd because they shifted so suddenly & significantly. Now it's back to the norm. Did they mess with votes in 2020 but not last nights primaries?

Elliott & Wolff counties never voted for Mitch in the 3 decades he's held office, yet they had a great change of heart in 2020? In these counties, die hard Democrats suddenly became huge Mitch McConnell fans but 2 years later Rand Paul was a step too far? That seems far fetched.

Some people will say you can't compare a mid-term Primary to a Presidential general. True. But it's not numbers I'm comparing, it's patterns. If these counties really had switched parties in 2020 wouldn't that pattern be reflected in the turnout numbers next election cycle?

To be clear, I'm not questioning last nights primary numbers. I'm saying that certain counties were so consistent with historical KY voting patterns that it strengthens the fact that Mitch McConnell's 2020 win didn't pass the smell test & should've been investigated & contested😠

To refresh your memory on why so many people have been questioning Mitch McConnells 2020 election 'win' you can see the articles I wrote by going to my pinned tweets or here is the original thread I did back in 2020
