My alarm didn’t go off this morning and I’ve been panicking for the last half hour while getting ready for work… To realize halfway into my shower that it is indeed Sunday. So it’s going to be one of those days, lol
As he kicked, pushed, and coasted across the road — he suddenly made eye contact with me and had *the* biggest grin across his face. I can’t even describe it, I burst out laughing. It was so toothy and goofy, amused that he’d just witnessed a fairytale princess walk by.
The little boy’s eyes locked straight onto the girl in the dress and his head swiveled completely around to watch her pass. His mom kept shouting “Come on!” but he was entranced, he couldn’t help it. Then he snapped out of it when he reached the crosswalk in front of my car.
Saw a cute kid, like maybe 5, riding a scooter down the sidewalk behind an exasperated mom. At one point a Jewish family with a young girl (about the same age) passed in the opposite direction. She had on a beautiful big white frilly dress, her Rosh Hashanah best.
