7 years ago today, my mother-in-law passed away after battling cancer.
She worked hard all her life but rarely had health care, and thus, rarely could see a Dr.
Had she had a good union job w/ benefits, she would be with us today.

to all the Moms and mother figures in your life! Lots of love to everyone missing loved ones today.
Let’s honor Mom by continuing to fight for a living wage, paid leave, health care, and dignity for all.
